Stillwater Youth Center Mission Statement

The Stillwater Youth Center is a Christian organization serving junior and senior high youth in Stillwater County. Programming and supervision is provided by a youth director and volunteer mentors. The Center is a place for youth to socialize, recreate, and study in a supportive Christian atmosphere. Stillwater Youth Center is funded by tax-deductible charitable gifts.

The Stillwater Youth Ministry is five-fold:

1. Our ultimate aim is to call kids to a life-long love relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. To reach and disciple youth.
3. To actively guide youth to fulfill the Great Commission.
4. To actively encourage youth to attend the church of their choice.
5. To build and enhance relationships between adults and youth.

Statement Of Faith

1. WE BELIEVE that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament are verbally inspired of God and are without     error in the original writing, and they are the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

2. WE BELIEVE in one God, creator and sustainer of the universe, who is eternally existent in three persons
the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

3. WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ , His virgin birth, His sinless life, His death to pay the penalty for our     sins, His bodily resurrection, His exaltation at God's right hand, and His personal and imminent return.

4. WE BELIEVE that all have sinned and are therefore guilty before God and are under His condemnation.

5. WE BELIEVE that all who receive Jesus Christ by faith are born again of the Holy Spirit and are, therefore,     children of God and eternally saved. The Holy Spirit dwells within every believer to enlighten, guide, and enable     him in fife, testimony, and service. We believe that God gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of     the body of Christ.

6. WE BELIEVE in the bodily resurrection of the just and the unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in     Glory, and the everlasting conscious punishment of the lost in Hell.

7. WE BELIEVE all believers are called into a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices and alliances.

8. WE BELIEVE all those of the Christian faith are one in the body of Christ and therefore, we believe we can     work together inter-denominationally in unity.
