Stillwater Youth Center Testimonial
"I began attending SYC for the first time around the time my grandpa died. I found the messages to be extremely comforting and I liked how the atmosphere was welcoming and felt like home. I continued to go on a regular basis as I found that the spiritual nourishment I was getting from SYC was necessary, and I loved that I could go spend time with my friends talking about God and not having to worry about fitting in and other problems high schoolers frequently deal with.
When I look back on my years at SYC, I realize that I wouldn't be the same person today had I not attended. As cliché as it sounds, I really believe this to be true. I learned the importance of God in my life and how to put my trust in Him rather than worrying about things on my own. It also led me to continue my spiritual walk with God when I went off to college. I found a great church and even co-led a bible study out of my home.
Places such as SYC are crucial to any community, and in order for them to exist people need to be supportive of them. SYC has been a safe haven for so many Columbus teens and it would be a shame if our small town ever lost that." Amber Kuehn
